Keycard & Energy Conservation Policy
To preserve our pristine jungle environment and support eco-friendly tourism, Rim Khao operates on a strict energy model. Please review our mandatory room key regulations:
Do Not Separate the Key and Card: The room key and its power activation card must always remain permanently attached on the same keychain. Detaching them is strictly prohibited.
Always Take the Set with You: When leaving your bungalow for island adventures, dinners, or day trips, the complete keycard set must leave the room with you.
Front Desk Safekeeping: If you are worried about losing your key set during outdoor activities or water sports, you are highly encouraged to drop it off at the Front Desk for secure safekeeping.
No Aircon Running While Away: Leaving the air conditioner running while you are out of the resort by intentionally separating the key from the card is strictly banned.
Violation Fines: If resort staff find that a keycard has been detached and left behind inside the room reader solely to keep the room cold while you are out, an immediate energy misuse fine of 500 THB per day will be charged directly to your account.
Resort & Pool Rules
Pool Hours: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (08:00 – 19:00).
Night Swimming: Strictly prohibited after 7:00 PM due to chemical water treatments. Violations will result in an immediate fine.
Parties: Group gatherings, loud events, and parties are strictly prohibited to respect the peace of all guests.
Occupancy: Only registered guests are allowed in rooms. We reserve the right to evict unauthorized occupants immediately.
Embracing Tropical Island Life
Rim Khao features traditional, authentic bungalow-style architecture set inside a lush, vibrant rainforest environment.
Airflow Design: Our rooms are designed for tropical ventilation and are not 100% airtight like city concrete structures.
Local Wildlife: Small geckos and harmless insects are a natural, eco-friendly part of island life and may occasionally enter ventilated spaces.
Window & Door Policy: Keep all windows and doors securely closed when inside or leaving your room. This prevents curious local monkeys, geckos, and flying insects from finding their way inside.
Night Lighting: Rainforest insects are highly attracted to bright lights. When your indoor lights are on after sunset, please ensure your blackout curtains are entirely drawn to block light from leaking out.
Exterior Lights: Please switch off your outdoor bungalow balcony lights when not in use to minimize swarming insects around your doorway.
Refund Policy: Non-refundable bookings will not be refunded due to natural weather elements, environmental factors, or standard wildlife encounters, as these are uncontrollable aspects of the jungle environment.
